Doin’ Time: A Tribute to Sublime
A tribute to one of the most influential bands of all time, hailing from Long Beach California, blending reggae, rock, punk, ska, surf and , hip-hop music. They started in backyard parties to bars, moving up to clubs, putting out their music independently, touring in a van, playing bigger shows, then to reaching world wide status as the hottest band west of the Mississippi...as someone once said.
Doin’ Time recreates that live sublime experience We strive to being the closest thing to sublime for all ears to hear. If you happen to close your eyes at one of our shows, with Chris’ vocal and guitar ability , you may just think for a moment...in that time, that you are at a sublime show! And to support him we have the tight rhythm section of Scott and Ro.
For our live performance we do the famous “triple threat” as sublime did at nearly every show..blending the three songs of, “don’t push”, “garden grove” and “Right Back”. If someone screams out a request, chances are we can play it..Chris also can provide an acoustic set as Brad was known to do.
